Chris Pleibel
President, PWA
Since graduating from Kutztown University in 1991, I have grown in the professional world through unique experiences and opportunities. Every job from the restaurant industry, beverage wholesaling, tactical and administrative volunteer in a local fire department, and various others have helped me form a technique to perpetuate my career path where I continually seek for improvement to better prepare me for future challenges to overcome.
As for my wireless career, it started in May of 1999 at Summit Manufacturing, a company who produced monopoles out of Hazelton, PA. I was assigned a territory in the Southeast of the United States and had the blessing to be affiliated with some of the best managers, peers and friends in the industry. After a hiccup in the industry and economy in 2002, I left the industry for 18 months. I returned to MTS Components, a steel antenna mount manufacturer. MTS was quickly acquired by Andrew where I learned about everything Andrew and the industry, but after a year I went to work for Primus Electronics, my current employer. I am a regional manager and enjoy all responsibilities and my expanding roll with the company. I look forward to a long career with Primus and in our great industry.
Primus Electronics, a privately held company, is based in Morris, IL with 35 employees who are vested in servicing the customer and vendor to the fullest. We represent over 200 manufacturers to support telecommunications infrastructure construction and safety.
