2010 Utility Colocation Forum
The Utility Colocation Forum on Jan. 27 & 28 in Hershey, PA. brought together leaders and decision makers from across the wireless  infrastructure industry and also featured a trade/exhibition floor. This year's event focused on regional issues and  explored how the federal Broadband Stimulus spending affects the wireless community.   The Forum featured speakers from state government, the PCIA, OEMs, wireless carriers, tower companies & owners, and of course utility providers.  The issues ranged from utility colocation and the role it plays in broadband deployments to the new technologies that make these rollouts possible and how all of this figures into public safety and economic recovery.  Next year's Forum will be held February 2-3, 2011 when the topic will focus on the SmartGrid.  Don't miss it!
