500 lbs of Food Goes to Pittsburgh Food Bank

February, 2010

The Pennsylvania Wireless Association would like to thank and acknowledge those who joined us in Pittsburgh on January 13, 2010 at the Four Points Sheraton for our evening social and food drive.  We are proud to say that this event was a success in more ways than one. By all accounts, this particular event was yet another ideal opportunity for our members to reconnect with colleagues as well as establish new relationships, both professional and personal.

Additionally, the PWA, through its members, was able to donate more
than 500 pounds of food to a local food pantry in Butler County which
supports over 120 families each month.  While the PWA as a professional organization strives to provide resources and opportunities for its members that are relevant, useful and yes, even enjoyable, the success of this particular event speaks volumes of the dedication of its members to look beyond themselves and reach out to their communities.

The PWA will continue to partner with the Pittsburgh Food Bank each
January. Please make a point of participating in this event next year and looking for other opportunities for involvement in other PWA events throughout the year.

Thank you and well done!
