Why attend the PWA Utility Telecom Forum 2011 / Smart Grid?

The Utility Telecom Forum meets at the intersection of telecom & utilities.  This safe setting promotes understanding of and amongst the competing priorities that arise from market innovation with IP communications technologies, and a changing regulatory environment. The forum explores the legislation, market forces and technology that behind the concept of the Smart Grid; examines strategies to address the practical issues arising from deployment, and the emerging business opportunities for  infrastructure owners, OEMs, consultants and constructors.  Our goal is to help define the Smart Grid, and to address how utilities & carriers will deploy telecom-based solutions to not only make their grid smarter, but to enable the Smart Home and enable a new generation of revenue-generating services.
